Vallée Des Pins Rosé Coteaux d’Aix en Provence

Spring has sprung in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere and it may decide to finally stick around for awhile! Warmer weather brings with it some beautiful foliage, bees, dragonflies, flowers, sandals, relaxing atmosphere, and more salads and lighter fare. I definitely crave more Rosé now than any other time of year! Rosé just seems to fit in with the flowers, food, and fun! And don’t forget mom on Mother’s Day! Sharing a Rosé with mom is like giving her a bouquet of fresh cut pink flowers…..don’t you agree? (-smile-). When I discover a new wine I enjoy, I love to tell the world and this week I happened upon the Vallée Des Pins Rosé Coteaux d’Aix en Provence from France! This 2019 Rosé is a blend of Cinsault and Grenache and all done in stainless steel.

In my glass, bright salmon in color which is a wonderful characteristic of a great Rosé from Provence! Vibrant aroma’s of fresh strawberry, raspberry, peach, and mineral fills the senses. Light to medium bodied, crisp, with a good acid structure. Lively flavors of ripe strawberry, white peach, citrus, and passion fruit. This is like a refreshing fruit salad party in a bottle! On the second sip, exotic tropical fruit came through with hints of guava and lychee leading to a long, pleasing mineral finish. This Vallée Des Pins Rosé is light and refreshing and perfect to accompany a meal or bring on its own for a celebration! Dry in style with lots of fruit and minerality to please any Provence Rosé lover! Pair with Chicken Parmigiana (like we did), ham salad, Mediterranean dishes, Margherita pizza, fresh salads, or light to medium cheeses.      90 Points! (Wine Splash).

So don’t forget mom this Mother’s Day and enjoy this wonderful Rosé along with her and celebrate! Find this wine and more like it at https://wtso.co/2u2wW3U on the Wines ‘Til Sold Out website.
