Deep ruby in color with exquisite aromas of dark forest berries, blueberry, black plum, cedar, and baking spices. Full bodied across the palate, rich, with a medium tannin structure. Generous flavors of ripe blackberry, blueberry pie, dark chocolate, warm spices, leading to a long, elegant, light oak finish. Very smooth and balanced between fruit, spice, and tannins. This 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon would be the perfect wine to pair with red meat, steak with mushroom red sauce, lasagna (meat or vegetarian), grilled veggies, and medium to strong cheeses.
