Wine Splash!

Blacksmith 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is very well crafted and forged to be an amazing wine! And so it is. Full bodied with rich flavors of stewed blackberries, ripe raspberries, anise, and hints of toffee. On the second sip, hints of olives and pipe tobacco came through to a long and graceful finish. Complex, balanced, and has all the flavors that make Cabernet Sauvignon the thoroughbred of red wines. I did not aerate this wine but after 15 minutes in my glass, it was smooth as silk. This is a 2013 vintage and I would drink by 2020. Pair with Filet Mignon, Slow Braised Osso Bucco, Roast Beef, pasta with a tomato sauce, and medium to sharp cheese. 93 Points and average of $22 a bottle. WineSplashing!!
