In the glass, garnet red in color with a bright red rim. Aromas of ripe cherry, red licorice, spice, and nuances of barnyard funk. Medium weight across the palate with soft, velvety tannins. Flavors of pomegranate, baked cherry, tobacco, and exquisite herbs. Great balance between bright fruit, juicy acidity, and supple tannins. On the second sip, more pronounced red cherry, hints of cranberry, and a long elegant oak finish. Wonderful to sip on its own or to accompany a meal. Pair with seasoned pork roast, baked ham, turkey, Mediterranean salad, or medium cheeses. This is a lush, interesting, and enjoyable Pinot Noir with lots of flavor and elegance! 91 Points! Average of $48 a bottle. WineSplashing!!
